The HP Rechargeable Active Pen G3 is designed for magnetic attach to the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3, HP Elite x2 G4, and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5. Windows 10/11 required on paired device. Control panel software is preinstalled or available as a download and only works when the pen is used with the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, HP Elite x2 G4, HP Elite x2 1013 G3, and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5. Bluetooth® pairing, software programming, and the digital proximity alert are only supported on the HP EliteBook x360 1030 G3/G4, HP EliteBook x360 1040 G5/G6, HP Elite x2 G4, HP Elite x2 1013 G3, and HP ZBook Studio x360 G5.

Good surface pen with stable writing. I wish it had a charge level indicator. It works well with my EliteBook and provides a decent writing experience.

I use the HP Active Pen G3 mainly for digital note-taking in OneNote, and it feels just like writing on paper. I’ve been using the HP Active Pen G3 for a few months now with my EliteBook x360. It’s fantastic for taking notes and drawing diagrams during meetings.
